If the TAC make a determination about your rights which is wrong, an application can be made to have the TAC review the decision, or for the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) to review it.
TAC determinations that can be reviewed include your rights with regard to medical expenses, loss of earnings or an impairment benefit.
You only have one year in which to appeal against a TAC decision. It is vital that you discuss this with your solicitor if you wish to dispute a TAC decision.
During this time you can lodge a dispute application with your solicitor. A meeting will be set up with the TAC to try and resolve the problems.
