Michael Lombard is the partner in charge of the personal injuries division of Adviceline Injury Lawyers, a division of Holding Redlich.
He is accredited by the Law Institute of Victoria as a specialist in personal injury law. He specialises in TAC cases.
TAC claims became a passion for Michael when he recognised the legal struggle clients faced even attempting to initiate a claim.
Prior to joining Holding Redlich, Michael had established his own legal firm of Lombard and Associates. He was the spokesperson for The Action Committee for Transport Injured Children (TACTIC), a group of parents of head injured children protesting against the Victorian Government’s intended privatisation of the Transport Accident Commission. After a year of protest the Kennett Government backed down from its plan in 1994.
From 1994 – 2006 Michael was a member and secretary of the Road Trauma Support Team, a non-profit group assisting people emotionally affected by road accidents.
In 2001 Michael joined Holding Redlich as the partner in charge of the TAC division. Michael has written numerous articles on personal injury and spoken at seminars throughout Australia, on Injury Law. He has a particular interest in head injury from road accidents.
Michael has been appointed to the TAC Law Institute Stakeholders Committee and Law Institute Committees relating to TAC and litigation. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Lawaid Scheme.
Michael is married with three children and has a special interest in open water swimming throughout the year.
