Andrea is a partner of Adviceline Injury lawyers, a division of Holding Redlich. She helps clients with work injury accidents and medical negligence claims.
Andrea joined the firm in 1994 as a graduate lawyer and has stayed here ever since. Clearly she loves the firm and the work she does! Her job satisfaction comes from getting to know her clients well, guiding and supporting them through a legal claim and then being satisfied that the compensation she helped recover for them makes a real difference to their lives. (She says that some clients feel like family to her by the end of a case.)
She is an Accredited Specialist in Personal Injuries Law with the Law Institute of Victoria. She has been a specialist since 2001.
Andrea helped members of the Stolen Generations in the Federal Court proceedings issued against the Commonwealth Government for their forcible removal of Aboriginal children in the Northern Territory. She received several awards in recognition of this important case that was done by Holding Redlich on a pro bono basis. Andrea remains an active member of the firm's Pro Bono committee, which manages the firm's pro bono work.
Andrea is also the Melbourne office's Parenting Partner and is responsible for supporting working parents and advocating flexible work practices within the Firm. Away from work, she is the very proud mother of 2 gorgeous boys, aged 6 and 9 years.

Andrea's Honours Thesis was entitled Avenues for Complaints against
Doctors in Victoria involving an analysis of the Medical Practitioners
Board, the Health Services Commissioner and the Court System.
